These terms apply when you use AnotherWalk or buy a route. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them. We have tried to keep them readable.
AnotherWalk is a self-guided walking-route service operated as a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 42084928, VAT number NL005483092B25. You can reach us at support@anotherwalk.city.
AnotherWalk offers curated, self-guided walking routes through the city, delivered as a web app. Each route is a set of stops, descriptions and a map you follow at your own pace. We offer one free route and several paid routes.
You sign in with a "magic link" sent to your email — there is no password. Keep access to your email address secure, since anyone who can open the link can reach your account. You are responsible for the activity on your account. Accounts are for personal use and are not transferable.
Prices are shown on our website in euros and include any applicable VAT. Paid routes are a one-time purchase of €5.99 per route. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Once your payment is confirmed, the route is unlocked on your account.
As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on online purchases, and we are happy to honour it. If you change your mind within 14 days of buying a route, just email us at support@anotherwalk.city and we will refund you. No long forms, no fine print.
On top of the 14-day money-back above, if something is genuinely wrong — a route does not load, or it is not what we described — email us and we will make it right, including a refund where appropriate. Your mandatory consumer rights under Dutch and EU law always remain.
AnotherWalk is a guide, not a guardian. You walk in a real city with traffic, bikes, water and uneven streets. You are responsible for your own safety and your surroundings at all times. Pay attention to your route, not only to your screen. Maps and directions can be inaccurate or out of date; use your own judgement.
We work hard to keep AnotherWalk available, but we cannot promise it will always be online or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue routes or features. If we discontinue a paid route you have already bought, we will offer a fair solution.
To the extent permitted by law, AnotherWalk is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything that happens to you while walking a route. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the route concerned.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes, we will inform account holders by email.
